Can I substitute it?

Silver-oxide cells in this 7.9 × 3.6 mm outline are 384 (low drain) and 392 (high drain). LR41 is alkaline. Same caution as LR44 versus 357.

Alkaline manganese button cells

An LR button is zinc/manganese dioxide with an alkaline electrolyte, nominal 1.5 V. Energizer's miniature alkaline handbook puts the open-circuit voltage near 1.6 V and then shows a sloping discharge, and it says the cathode swells as the cell empties. The handbook's own rule for using it in place of silver oxide is narrow: only where the device manufacturer recommends the substitution.

LR44 is the code Energizer sells as A76, designation ANSI/NEDA 1166A, IEC-LR44. The current A76 datasheet rates 150 mAh to 0.9 V on 6.8 kΩ at 21°C. Renata's scope chart, July 2016, rates LR44 at 110 mAh and states the outline as 11.6 × 5.4 mm. Same code, two tests, two numbers. The Energizer A76 product page lists AG13 among the labels that A76 replaces, which is why a search for AG13 lands here. It also lists 357, SR44 and SG13. Those last three are silver-oxide designations for the same outline. Energizer is telling you the A76 will fit and run the device. The handbook is telling you it will not hold voltage the way 357 does. Both documents are Energizer's. Fit is not the same claim as service life.

LR41, LR43 and LR54 are the smaller alkaline outlines, Energizer numbers 192, 186 and 189. AG12 and AG10 show up on Energizer's cross-reference on the same lines as those alkaline cells and as the silver-oxide cells of the same diameter and height. An AG10 search is answered with the alkaline LR54 facts, and the silver-oxide neighbours are linked beside it, not folded into it.
