What the numbers mean
377 and 376 are Energizer's numbers for the two drain versions of one 6.8 × 2.6 mm silver-oxide button. Renata prints SR626SW for the low-drain cell (377) and SR626W for the high-drain cell (376). Energizer's cross-reference often puts the pair on one line under 'replaces batteries labeled as', which is a fit list, not a statement that the two are the same cell.
The short IEC code SR66, and SR626 without a suffix, is printed for both. It does not settle which one you need. The suffix or the three-digit number does. If the old cell or the watch case says 377 or SW, buy the low-drain cell. If it says 376 or W, buy the high-drain cell. On the cited sheets 377 is rated 24 mAh (Renata) and 24 mAh (Energizer) and 27 mAh (Energizer 377/376 sheet). 376 is rated 27 mAh (Renata) and 26 mAh (Energizer) and 27 mAh (Energizer 377/376 sheet). A combined Energizer 377/376 sheet gives one figure for both, so it is listed under each cell and not used to rank them.
